Response from Geico (homeowners division)

I could have lost insurance coverage for my home because after I paid Geico the full premium of $385.00 via BECU electronic bank transfer, on April 8, 2015 I received notice of cancellation for non payment. My complaint to the Insurance Commissioner was on July 13 with very specific information about the second payment that I was then required to pay June 9th or lose coverage. Geico refused to issue a refund until July 15th after BECU and I made dozens of phone calls. The Insurance Commissioner did nothing on my behalf other than contact Geico, received a response from Geico, and closed my case WITHOUT making any attempt to learn what happened on my end of things.
