Mad Dawg’s and Seattle’s Best Hot Dog & Sausage were closed by King County public health officials on Saturday after both mobile carts violated food safety regulations, the Health Dept. announced Monday.

Health officials said Mad Dawg’s, located at 908 12th Ave, Seattle 98122 closed due to the imminent health hazards of no hand washing facilities available.

“Our team specializes in serving sizzlin’ Seattle-style sausages in the friendliest, cleanest, youngest, tastiest, and most affordable way possible to leave our fans wanting more and more,” said Mad Dawg’s company site.

Meanwhile, Seattle’s Best Hot Dog & Sausage closed after a total of three health violations at its location at: 5604 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106.

Officials said the mobile cart closed due to hazardous foods at unsafe temperatures and inadequate facilities to control temperatures of potentially hazardous foods. Hand washing facilities were also unavailable.

These establishments will reopen once inspectors confirm that these issues have been resolved, according to King County health officials.
