The 10.5-ounce recalled package, “From the Kitchen of Cooking Light Magazine: Lemon Pepper Chicken,” were produced on December 20 and 21, 2016, with the use or freeze by date of January 21, 2017.
Although the product was labeled “Lemon Pepper Chicken” it contained a different product, “Blackened Chicken Breast,” which contains milk and wheat allergens.
There have been no confirmed reports of allergic reactions due to consumption of the product.
The USDA is instructing all consumers who have purchased these products to avoid consuming them by throwing them away or returning the item to the place of purchase.
