According to personal finance website WalletHub’s 2017 “Happiest Places to Live” ranking, California is home to some of the happiest U.S. cities to live in.
To come up with the results, analysts at WalletHub compared the nation’s 150 largest cities across three key dimensions: emotional/physical well being, income/employment and community/environment.
Using data from sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the three dimensions were evaluated based on 30 relevant metrics such as rates of depression, poverty rates, weather and more.
