King County Public Health officials closed three businesses — Cafe Pho II, Inc, Thai Curry Simple, and Grilled Cheese Experience — on Wednesday after staff said the businesses violated several food safety regulations.
According to public health officials, Cafe Pho II, Inc located at 2600 Southcenter Mall Food Court, Suite FC8, Tukwila 98188 was closed due to improper cooling of potentially hazardous food, inadequate facilities to control temperature, unavailable hand-washing facilities and adulterated food.
Cafe Pho II, Inc, is known for cooking Vietnamese dishes and the “freshest vegetables and meat daily from scratch in our kitchen,” according to its website.
Thai Curry Simple, located at 406 5th Ave S, Seattle 98104, was closed due to poor personal hygiene practices — specifically hand-washing — and no available hot water, according to public health officials.
This Thai restaurant is a family owned and operated business and their dishes are known for having a “unique flavor with a combination of spicy, sweet and sour spices,” according to their website.
Public health officials also said they closed the Grilled Cheese Experience food truck located at 3810 Airport Way S, Seattle 98108 because they were operating with an unapproved commissary.
These establishments will reopen once these food inspectors confirm these issues have been resolved, according to health officials.
