For the first time, Apple is selling refurbished iPhones through its online store.
According to the Consumerist, Apple will sell iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Prices are $449 – $589, at least 15% less than a new device.
Apple states that the phones are unlocked, SIM-free, include a new battery, outershell, and include a one-year factory warranty.
Nearly a year ago Apple started taking trade-ins of newer iPhones with cracked screens and dings. The addition of refurbished iPhones comes just weeks after the release of the iPhone 7.
