Here are important details about the first-ever Amazon Jobs Day:

1. Amazon Jobs Day is August 2

Amazon is opening up 10 of its fulfillment centers on August 2 from 8 a.m. to noon local time for the company’s first-ever Jobs Day. This is your chance to tour a fulfillment center to learn more about working at Amazon and the technology it utilizes. If you like what you see, you can apply for a job on-site and may even receive an on-the-spot job offer.

2. Full-time and part-time positions available

Tens of thousands of full-time jobs are open at Amazon fulfillment centers for employees who will pick, pack and ship orders. However, more than 10,000 of the 50,000 jobs are part-time positions at the company’s sortation centers. In addition to hourly roles at fulfillment centers, Amazon has supporting and managerial opportunities available, including HR managers, IT specialists and operations leaders.

3. They come with benefits!

Amazon says it offers full-time workers highly-competitive pay, health insurance, disability insurance, retirement savings plans and company stock. Part-timers who work at least 20 hours a week get life and disability insurance, dental and vision insurance and funding toward medical insurance. Amazon also offers a tuition pre-payment program.
