The Washington State Attorney General’s Office says its investigation found Seattle-area sushi restaurants selling mislabeled fish.
The Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division says it sent testers into multiple sushi restaurants in the area to see if customers were getting the species of fish they ordered.
“Consumers think they’re getting one fish when they’re really getting something different, and sometimes there’s a big difference in price,” Attorney Shannon Smith explained.
